According to the relevant person in charge, these vehicles can rely on their own "eyes" and "brains" to achieve automatic driving without human intervention. “Eye” is the sensor, which is located on the roof and the body respectively. It can sense the distance and depth of surrounding objects 360 degrees. The “brain” is the deep learning algorithm control technology. It can combine the high-precision map and predict the surrounding things according to the real-time perceived environmental information. The behavior and intention of the pedestrians, so as to independently develop the optimal path planning, complete the road cleaning and cleaning, garbage clearing and transportation tasks. Among them, the unmanned logistics vehicle can also be connected to the mobile phone APP to realize scheduled fixed-point garbage collection and transportation, and can also carry out intelligent garbage collection and transportation through the form of beckoning and stopping.
These "unmanned" sanitation vehicles are not only "small size and large capacity", but also efficient in operation. Taking the small-sized unmanned road sweeper and the unmanned logistics vehicle as an example, the effective working volume of the vehicle becomes larger due to the reduction of the installation of the conventional cockpit, and the maximum volume can reach 2 cubic meters. Vehicles can enter the back streets and lanes that are not accessible to traditional sanitation machinery. On average, they can clean 25,000 square meters of road area in one hour.
